Our vision is that all girls go to school, complete senior secondary education, and lead empowered lives through effective livelihood opportunities.
Educate Girls Globally (EGG) is a 501(c)(3) organization registered in California, USA. Since it’s incorporation in 2000, EGG exists to deliver, through the vehicle of a scalable, replicable model of education reform, an improved quality of life for traditionally-marginalized girls in developing countries. We work to strengthen schools, improve girls’ leadership, and build capacities of communities so that girls and women can access quality education and livelihood options.
Effective education should naturally lead to economic well-being of women and families. But due to several factors, many girls are unable to complete even school education. Even among the ones who complete school education, many girls are unable to pursue higher studies. Due to lack of education and/or employable skills, they lead deprived lives. To bridge this gap, EGG also focuses on providing opportunities to girls through its skill development program which leads to livelihood and income generation.
