Initially, establish Girls’ Parliaments in local communities, empowering girls as stakeholders of schools. The girls – together with the entire community – take ownership of both their schools and their futures. This, inspires wider cultural change that transforms dormant, traditional communities into dynamic, enlightened communities. These, in turn, beget girls – and boys – who become confident leaders, creative entrepreneurs, and engaged citizens. Over time, the endeavor is ultimately transferred to the government ministries of education. Longitudinal measurement, evaluation, and evolution of this method are intrinsic to the EGG model and assure successful outcomes.
