Tina
Frank
Tina Frank is an independent consultant with more than 30 years of experience in the public affairs arena. Since 2004, Ms. Frank has served as the Program Director to the California Governor’s Conference on Women, the nation’s largest and most prestigious conference for women. On behalf of the St. Louis Business Journal, Ms. Frank created and executed the first Business Journal Conference for Women in St. Louis, MO in 2006. She created this conference after having served as Program and Sponsor Director for the Professional Business Women of California conference for five years in Northern California. Currently, Ms. Frank also serves as an appointee of Governor Schwarzenegger to the CA State Alcohol Beverage Control Appeals Board, a four-year part time appointment. Along with her dedication to Educate Girls Globally (EGG), Tina currently sits on several non-profit boards including the California Women’s Foundation and San Francisco General Hospital Foundation. Tina earned her B.A. from California State University San Francisco in 1972.

Bordigioni
Dean Bordigioni is the owner/winemaker of Anadel Estate Winery in Sonoma Valley and also the owner of Borso del Grappa commercial real estate investment group. As a former Harley-Davidson motorcycle dealer, he is an active creator and supporter of motorcycling sponsored charitable events and an adventure motorcyclist and writer.
A. Lawrence Chickering
Lawrence Chickering, founder and President of EGG, has worked
for more than thirty years on designing and implementing reforms
of government institutions and policies to empower disadvantaged
people. EGG is the third policy institute he has either founded
or co-founded. His experience in reframing issues to broaden
political support is crucial for EGG, promoting an issue that
is controversial in some places. He is currently working on
two new books: one presenting a strategy for promoting girl's
education, and a second, co-authored book on citizens and
foreign policy. Mr. Chickering has been associated with may
international organizations, including Freedom House, the
Council on Foreign Relations, the Pacific Council for International
Policy, and Search for Common Ground. He is a graduate of
Stanford University and the Yale Law School, and is currently
a Research Fellow at the Hoover Institutions.
David
Fleishhacker
Former Board Member, Nat'l Assoc. of Principals of Schools
for Girls; Former Treasurer, California Association of Independent
Schools; Co-Author, Afghans Learn English (text series); Peace
Corps (1962 - 64) - English, Math and History teacher for
Grades 1 - 8, Kabul University and Kabul Medical School; Former
Headmaster, Burke's School for Girls.
Lynne Twist
Lynne Twist is an advocate and spokesperson for the end of hunger, the preservation of the world's rainforests and the emergence of women in cultures throughout the world.
Patty Lancaster
Patty Lancaster is in private practice as a licensed psychotherapist
for individuals, families and groups in West Los Angeles.
She is Head Counselor for The Archer School for Girls in Brentwood
for 8 years. She oversees the curriculum development
for Human Development, and supervises teachers in the department.
She also co-leads the efforts at the Archer School to collaborate
with Educate Girls Globally, and chaperoned two trips to India
to visit EGG sites. Prior to working at Archer, she was a
consultant for 6 years for The Los Angeles Educational Partnership
as an Organizational Change consultant for the LEARN school
reform efforts.
Anjali Joshi
Anjali Joshi is an accomplished technology executive who has held significant leadership positions in high-growth companies. After a sabbatical from work, Anjali recently re-entered the fray as Director of Product Management at Google. At Google, she leads groups focused on real-time services such as Finance and News as well as the software, network and computing infrastructure. Before her sabbatical, she was President of Reliance Broadband, USA, a subsidiary of Reliance India, where she was responsible for defining voice, data, and video services for deployment in India. Prior to that, Anjali was Executive Vice-President of Engineering at Covad Communications, the first DSL Competitive Carrier in the US and helped the company grow from a start-up to a public company. Anjali spent several years at Bell Labs working in the areas of voice and high speed data communications. Anjali was an invited member of the FCC Network Reliability and Interoperability Council and an advisor to the Technical Staff at the FCC. Anjali received her
BTech in Electrical Engineering from IIT, Kanpur and a Masters
in Engineering Management from Stanford University.
Louann
Brizendine
Louann
Brizendine, M.D. completed her degree in Neurobiology at UC
Berkeley, graduated from Yale School of Medicine, did graduate
work in London at UCL in Philosophy of Mind and History of
Science and Medicine, and completed a residency in Psychiatry
at Harvard Medical School . She has served on the faculties
of Harvard Medical School and UCSF Medical School. At
UCSF, Dr. Brizendine now pursues active clinical, teaching,
writing and research activities. She founded the UCSF Women's
Mood and Hormone Clinic in 1994 and continues to serve as
it's director. The Women's Mood and Hormone Clinic is a unique
clinic designed to assess and treat women of all ages experiencing
disruption of mood, concentration, energy, anxiety, sexual
function and well-being related to hormonal influences on
the brain. Couples having relationship difficulties related
to these hormonal issues are also seen in the clinic. Her
bestselling first book, The Female Brain ,
was released August 1, 2006.
